Hello there
Well I guess I know who my real friends are, judging by the fact that only two of you apparently care enough for what I have to say to have added this other journal to your list of friends when I suggested it. However, while there's obviously not any problem with your keeping this journal listed, I'm most likely going to use it to join the communities in which I most frequently cross-post, because pretty much the only time I've ever made more than five entries in a day (that's going to be the limit for free users, not 3) is when I post one entry in several different communities. If I reach the limit with gmalivuk, and still have more to say, I'll either put it off for a few hours until I can post again, or I'll add it to the end of my latest already-posted entry. | | Thursday, February 6th, 2003 | | 6:08 pm |
In light of impending limits, and in light of the fact that I never use this journal the way I originally intended, I may start using for any additional posts I feel the need to make in a given 24-hour period. So this is now just an extension of gmalivuk's journal. | | Thursday, December 12th, 2002 | | 2:27 pm |
Let's get one thing straight
Before I say anything else in here, I want to get one thing straight: I did not rape Ninlil. I understand why she said I did, because her family didn't approve of our relationship and would have disowned her if they thought it was consensual, so I forgive her for her part in it. But honestly, would she have followed me into the underworld, where I spent some time after being accused, so I could witness the birth of our first child, if she hadn't really loved me? I mean, that decision nearly resulted in Sin, the moon god by right of birth, being imprisoned in the underworld, so clearly it wasn't one she made lightly. In order to allow our firstborn to reign where he was supposed to be, we had to dedicate our next three children to the deities of the underworld. So yeah, despite what you may read elsewhere, I did not rape my intended bride, unless you consider her the property of her family that I "took" without her family's permission. But such a mode of thinking is outdated at best, outright dangerous at worst. |
